Sign Re-facing or Rehabilitation – Case Study of VanKleeks Tire

June 22, 2012ReubenNews0

Have an “old” sign that you want to replace or change, but are short on the investment capital? Updating or re-facing your company’s sign is a relatively inexpensive way to create a major impact on potential customer awareness.

Whether you are a new business moving in or if your existing sign is  outdated or damaged,Timely Signs can give your sign a fresh, modern look by implementing one or more rehab options.

We recently did a sign rehabilitation for the Lake Katrine location of Van Kleeck’s tire. Unfortunately the top sign box was in pretty bad shape which we had to remove for safety reasons, but the existing support pole was in spectacular shape. Perfect for a new monument sign complete with a Daktronic digital display.

June 15, 2012ReubenNews0

Tyson McCasland of Timely Signs graduated from the Ulster Leadership Development Institute offered by the Ulster County Regional Chamber of Commerce. McCasland joins fellow staff member graduates Joe Beichert ‘09 and Nora Scandariato ’10.  The program which began 19 years ago is a community leadership-training program which educates future leaders on the community, local and state government, law enforcement, arts, cultural and community development.

McCasland has been with Timely signs for 10 years; beginning as an intern then working his way through the organization to production manager, and now his current position as sales associate.

“After graduating from ULDI myself I thought it was the perfect program for our managers” said Joe Beichert, Vice President.  “I think Tyson will be able to take what he’s learned about leadership and implement it into his role here at Timely Signs.”

Tyson lives in Kingston with his fiancé, Jodie Esposito.

Sign of the Week! Price Chopper Plaza Monument Sign for Rosen Group

This week we’re going to show you something a little different.

This Wednesday’s Sign of the Week is a big deal, because it’s…. big! 15′ tall and 11′ wide! It’s a monument sign we did for the Rosen Group at the Price Chopper Plaza in Vails Gate, NY. This Monument sign features a header (top) panel with “Price Chopper” in dimensional letters and two deep illuminated sign cabinets for maximum visibility for tenant panels, set on custom built structural steel upright posts, complete with a metal roof.

June 6th Sign of the Week! Ulster County Tourism

June 6, 2012ReubenNews0

This week we are featuring one of our newest projects for Ulster County Tourism! We first installed a temporary sign to announce their new location at 20 Broadway in Kingston, and then happily a few weeks later we put up the nice and bright permanent sign to celebrate their grand opening! From design to fabrication it was a true delight to work with the great folks helping to make Ulster County Alive!

Read more about the work they do to promote Ulster County as the beautiful destination it is at their website, Ustercountyalive.com.
