Designing & Planning for Quality Signs

Quality signs and sign programs begin with great planning and design. Timely Signs, working with the administration at Glens Falls Hospital, has been contracted to bring all 27 of their outpatient service locations up to date with their new logo standards.

Phase one of the project began with surveys of each site, photographing and measuring the existing signs and detailing the existing structures. Next, Graphic Designer Gillian Barnard, working with Project Manager Joe Beichert, developed the full sign package showing new sign proposals for each of the 27 outpatient locations. The design of all proposed signage adheres to the new branding standards developed by the hospital, ensuring consistent Glens Falls Hospital brand identity.

The hospital was presented detailed drawings and designs outlining the proposed signs along with budgetary figures and permitting information for each location based on the municipality the office is located in.  “For a project of this scale and with this many locations the planning phase is the most critical” , said Beichert. “Our goal is to make the process as easy as possible for our clients and provide them the information they need to make well informed decisions.”
