Dutchess Community College chose Timely Signs to design, fabricate and install a historical timeline installation for the renovated Bowne Hall Founders Lobby. Drawing from a wealth of historical documents, newspaper articles, photography and personal memos, an outline was developed to include critical milestones in the founding of the college.
A mix of materials was used including wood and aluminum to tie in with the interior finishes. The entire background panel features a digitally printed mural of the college seal and a historical photo of Bowne Hall. Dimensional photos and text were installed over the mural and create a museum-like display.
