Rondout Savings Bank is a hometown bank currently celebrating 140 years of excellence in service to the Kingston community and surrounding areas. In 2011, they retained the services of Frank Campagna and his team of designers at ColorPage, formerly Tri-State Litho, with the task of developing a new identity for the bank and implementing it across all of the their print and electronic media. When it came time to rebrand the exterior signage of their four branch locations, they called on Timely Signs to develop and implement a complete package of exterior signage using their new identity.
Paul Beichert of Timely Signs worked closely with the bank’s administrative staff and with ColorPage on the design, planning and budgeting of the project.
After complete surveys of all locations were performed, we found that this project was as much about removing outdated and redundant signs as it was about branding. Beichert said about the process. Not every sign that was in place needed to be re-branded or even needed to be there at all. By removing, in some cases, half of the signs and replacing them with a few, well-designed and accurately placed signs, the overall look of every site was improved.
Timely Signs team handled all aspects of the project including the design, budgeting, permit filing and approvals, manufacturing, removals and installations. Many of the signs that were in good shape were re-conditioned, saving a substantial amount over the cost of installing all new signage. The bank benefits greatly by having a clean, consistent and modern image across all four of their branches.
