The Rebranding of Rhinebeck Bank
Since 1860, Rhinebeck Savings Bank had been integral to the economic growth along the Hudson River. They’re the kind of bank that’s personally involved in their business, their communities, as well as charitable organizations throughout the region. Over the years, the Bank expanded their footprint and their product line and came to realize they needed to update their ‘look’ as well. Along with a visual rebrand, came streamlining their name to Rhinebeck Bank.
After an in-depth study of the marketplace and the competition, a new, modern logo incorporating the rolling waves of the Hudson River was created.
Rhinebeck Bank chose Timely Signs to carry out the replacement signage project throughout all 11 Dutchess and Ulster County branches, and corporate offices in Poughkeepsie, NY. Since Rhinebeck Bank has been established for over 152 years and some of their offices were original, unique challenges were faced. Some of these branches fell within historical areas in villages with restrictive code requirements; while others were in commercial districts that allowed for larger, internally illuminated signage.
Creating a balance of brand consistency across a variety of fabrication methods to comply with the various code requirements was challenging. As a cost-saving measure, Timely Signs refinished and upgraded existing sign cabinets and structures with new lighting and finishes – resulting in a significant cost-savings when compared to complete replacement. Timely Signs handled all of the branch surveys of existing signage, designed development for planning, budgeting, scheduling, permit application and meeting attendance as well as all of the fabrication and installation required to make this project a success.
